Chest Messages

“Trails from Zero” (fourth part of the whole Trails series) was relaunched in 2022 for PC, Switch and PS4 and contains 230 treasure chests and thus also 230 messages that are in the chests. This can be read if, after opening and removing the item, you “talk” to the chest again with the action button. In fact, this message-in-chest feature has been around since the English version of the first Trails game and has continued as a tradition. Since there was so much text to be translated for the parts, they seemed to want to have fun. Most of the texts are therefore either about stealing the property of the treasure chests (especially since the protagonist is a detective) or commenting on the game itself, thereby breaking the fourth wall (so telling about the game). I would like to show what I think is the funniest messages here. If the texts are not understandable because of too many technical terms, I explain them below.

That was all the chest messages I selected. In fact, “only” 65 out of 230. Nevertheless, I want to show a few screenshots of Randy on the next page, because he also has cool sayings^^
