    Alligatoah Concert in Erfurt

Recently, we attended our second Alligatoah concert after the one in Leipzig. This time, the concert took place in Erfurt, which is practically just around the corner. Initially, it was supposed to be held in the Thüringenhalle, but it was closed this year due to the risk of collapse. Therefore, the concert took place in the Messehalle. We got there quite quickly by train and tram. I was wearing my tour shirt from Leipzig, and Nathalie had her white fan shirt. Alligatoah concert in Leipzig and album “Rotz und Wasser”

Lately, we’ve been listening to a musician quite frequently: Alligatoah. Those who have read our blog post about the Camino de Santiago might already be aware of this. During our hike, we spent a significant amount of our walking time listening to Alligatoah’s old albums. But since the second album is called “Dunkel” (in Englisch “Dark”) and also has a slipcase where “Hell” can be put in, the German adjective (translated “light”) will probably be meant. Nevertheless, it cannot be ruled out 100% that both words…

Album Review: “Hell” by Die Ärzte

Those who know me know that I am a big fan of Die Ärzte. Normally I listen to J-Pop almost exclusively in the form of various Anime Openings and Endings, but when it comes to German language music, I have only listened to all albums of this band and a large part of my playlist consists of songs from Die Ärzte. Now that more than 8 years have passed since the last album, I, like many other fans, was over the moon when the doctors announced a new album and a tour after all. I immediately got myself tickets… but unfortunately all concerts in 2020 were cancelled due to Corona…
