Nathalie and I had wanted to go to a Die Ärzte concert for a long time, but unfortunately they had made their last official tour in 2013. But that changed with their new album “Hell” from 2020 (review here), thanks to which the tour “In The Ä Tonight” was announced. This article is about our hobby “Weiß Schwarz”, a trading card game (TCG) that Nathalie and I play. In fact, it was practically one of the first topics when we first met. The novel “Final Fantasy XV -The Dawn of the Future-” was published in Japanese in 2019 and in English in 2020. It includes four DLCs (Downloadable Content, i.e. extra downloadable content) for the game Final Fantasy XV as a narrated story. Activities between Christmas holidays and New Year
The year 2021, like the previous one, was special due to the pandemic. What was new was that Nathalie did not go home for Christmas due to Corona, so we were both in Weimar and were able to carry out our own plans over the holidays and up to the New Year. Album Review: “Dunkel” by Die Ärzte
After I have already wrote a review for the first new album “Hell”, it is not very surprising that I am also write one for the second new one “Dunkel”. Funny to mention here is that I actually thought that “Hell” is meant as Englisch word (in German “Hölle”) on the first album. This was also confirmed by the cover, where Die Ärzte are shown with “devilishly” creepy eyes. But since the second album is called “Dunkel” (in Englisch “Dark”) and also has a slipcase where “Hell” can be put in, the German adjective (translated “light”) will probably be meant. Poland (2021)
Departure for a short vacation to Zabrze In summer 2021 and before we wanted to tackle our big camping trip in August, we went to Poland for a few days. The plan was to visit Nathalie’s grandparents, similar to 2018, but this time only to the maternal grandmother, because the paternal from Ruda Śląska had died the previous year. Gotha Zoo and wet animals
It was the beginning of June and sights in Thuringia that had been closed for months have slowly reopened, including zoos. Model Kit “Jehuty”
After I finished the model kit from Vic Viper (see the article HERE), I ordered the two other model kits from Jehuty and Anubis shortly afterwards. These arrived from Japan after just a few weeks. It has to be said that Jehuty is available in two versions as a model of KOTOBUKIYA: a normal and an HD version. The normal one looks quite boring and is kept in matte gray tones. Today I want to write a book review again and it is about the novel “Final Fantasy VII: The Kids are alright: A Turks side quest” which was published in March 2021 in German. The Japanese original book by Kazushige Nojima was published in 2011. Why did it take so long to publish it in both English and German when the other novel “Final Fantasy VII: Looking Forward” was translated within a very short time?
